Where our focus is on

Boating Education

Including for the Washington State Boating Card

Fun and Community

We are the Bellevue unit of the United States Power Squadrons®, the largest boating organization in the US. We are a volunteer organization promoting safe boating fun through education.

Our members are sailors, power boaters, people yet to own their first boat and those who no longer own one, people with trailerable boats, long distance cruisers, and live-aboards. Meetings and classes are usually in the Bellevue area though people attend from around Puget Sound.

We offer America's Boating Course which satisfies the requirement for Washington State Boater Education Card and insurance discounts as well as other classes to suit your needs and schedule.

Come for a class or a free, no risk Vessel Safety Check and discover a boating family which meets for relaxed, family friendly social gatherings, dinners, and weekend rendezvous (boat optional).

There is also opportunity for public service through the education program, cooperative charting and Vessel Safety Checks.

Whatever your skill level we have courses for you.
With a new emphasis on on-line education, many  courses can be taken on your own schedule.
